In the Regional Natural Park of the Haut Languedoc, moors and forests surround this lake with its wild beauty. Not far away, near the dam, the stream of Bureau flows into the void at the “Saut de Vezoles”, and offers a magnificent panorama on the Orb valley. 2 hikes can be practiced there, a simple one allowing to go around the lake and the second one, for the most sportive, which leaves Riols to join the Saut de Vezoles
