About

State forest of Albères (2123ha) located on the canton of Argelès sur mer, straddles the two communal territories of Laroque des Albères and Sorède. The geographical location of this forest, close to major poles of tourist seaside, as well as the beauty of the landscapes and panoramas it offers, make it a very frequented site. The great ecological diversity of these habitats has led to the creation of a biological reserve on part of the national forest for the protection and knowledge of the environment. The GR 10 trail crosses the national forest. Many other trails crisscross the forest.

Location
