About
Just outside Olette, the road climbs in charming switchbacks up to Evol. The surprise lies in the unity of the constructions in this former medieval village. The walls of the houses are made of schist, stones stacked on top of each other, with beautiful stone slab roofs. The houses stretch along a strip beside the road, beneath the Saint-André Church, classified as a Historic Monument since 1943.
