Daniel Buren has designed the surroundings of La Cigalière in collaboration with the architect Nicolas Guillot. The work expands “in a fan” towards the Biterrean plain: on nearly three hectares, 170 openwork metal pylons are deployed in space to guide our gaze towards the horizon. It is a real spectacle at nightfall, when the pylons, lit from within by fiber optics, take on infinite varieties of colors.
