About
The bridge spanning the Lot River near the village of Les Salelles is a relatively recent 19th-century structure, but its construction suggests it was rebuilt exactly as it was. An earlier bridge existed there as early as 1669, as an important thoroughfare connected Mende to Rouergue by crossing the river at this point. It is a humpback bridge with two arches and retains a stone cross on one of its parapets.
