This 5-hectare garden in the center of town, with its theater of greenery, rockeries and busts of Occitan poets – who gave the place its name – allows you to wander among a plethora of exotic botanical species.
You’ll also see sculptures by Injalbert, author of the Titan Fountain, the Child with Fish and the Monument aux Morts, as well as swans and ducks frolicking in the pond. The Plateau des Poètes park has been a listed historic monument since 1995.
