Green and freshness leisures heaven, Gourjade Park is the real “green lung”of the city of Castres.
53 hectares of greenery, for pleasure and relaxation, in free access!
Many activities are available: walks or mountain bike rides, orienteering races, children games,nine-hole golf course, picnic… This park, situated in a site occupied since Neolihic Era, has been acquired in 1977 by Castres from De Boissezon family. This Domain, whose main activities were farming and ranching, includes a XIXth century mansion and farm buildings.
