BEZIERS , Hérault – Cultural heritage

About

From the “habit de lumières” of Spanish bullfighter Luis MAZZANTINI (1856-1926) to the “goyesque” garb of Béziers maestro Sébastien CASTELLA, not forgetting the magnificent “Tauromaquia de Goya”, a whole collection of pieces amassed by aficionados over more than 120 years testifies to the importance of the bullfighting tradition in Béziers. This rich heritage is housed in the former church of the Dominican Friars Convent, dating from the late 16th century.
