The Silk Museum retraces the Cévennes’ silk heritage, through a unique collection : from the cocoon to the fabric, you will discover all the secrets of the production and weaving of the “gold thread”

The Silk Museum introduces visitors to silkworm rearing at all stages of the cycle (from April to October) in a reconstructed silkworm nursery, its ingenious machinery and magnificent know-how.
Guided tours are offered on a regular basis, and two archive films on silkworm breeding complete the visit.
Contemporary textile design is showcased with a seasonal exhibition and a boutique featuring local craftsmen and designers, which also houses the Soieries des Cévennes sales area.
