Dans les écuries du château de Raissac, Christine Viennet présente des faïences des XIXe et XXe siècles. Céramiste et experte, elle met en lumière arts de la table et œuvres naturalistes inspirées de Palissy. Visite sur rendez-vous, du lundi au samedi.

In the beautiful stables of the Château de Raissac, Christine Viennet exhibits earthenware from the 19th and 20th centuries. A ceramist by trade, she brings to these collections the eye of a designer and an expert. The museum possesses numerous pieces embodying the arts of the table, from the 16th to the 19th century in particular; not forgetting Christine Viennet’s passion: the naturalists, followers of Bernard Palissy (16th c.).
Through modeling and its various techniques, the art of trompe l’oeil and its infinite subjects, Christine Viennet sculpts marine creatures, still lifes…
