About
Regrouping the machinery and different equipment that constituted the production line for the felt hat body and the finished hat, including a film following the 25 steps which are necessary, and even essential, for the fabrication of a high quality felt hat. 2 areas devised as workshops, “the shed and felt preparation”, lift the veil on both the manufacturing process and on issues related to the mechanical evolution dating back to the industrial revolution. Photographs, relevant books and models of headgear complete the illustration of these different phases, providing both a technical and historical background to this previously globally recognised industry. Fun and educational workshops for schools and holiday activities.
