ARISTIDE MAILLOL MUSEUM

About

A little way from Banyuls, surrounded by vineyards and shaded by cypress, olive and fig trees, the Métairie, where the great French sculptor Maillol spent his winters, houses both a museum and his tomb. Tours: approx. 40 mins. Aristide Maillol’s tomb: free access in the garden of the Métairie all year round (in the same place as the museum). You can admire the statue of the artist on the tomb. Closed on public holidays and Mondays.
