THE OMER MILL

About

The Omer Mill overlooks the village of Cucugnan. It was restored in 2003 and began production in 2006. The flour it produces is used to make bread, biscuits and brioches on site. An oven adjoining the mill was built for the purpose. It is wood-fired, made of clay, and weighs more than 30 tonnes. A reception room for groups of adults and schoolchildren has been set up so that educational workshops can be organised. There is a windmill with sails, manufacture of bread, cakes and cereals and much, much more. Free tour of the mill when spending at least €15 per family.
