The Rouve temple has been restored to house a place of memory dedicated to the Camisards. “THE FIRST CAMISARDS AND FREEDOM OF CONSCIENCE” In order to revive the memory of one of the main pages of the past of our Hautes Cévennes region and to recall a page of the universal values of resistance to oppression with a humanist and cultural concern, we invite you to our place of memory. A screening devoted to the Camisards War and an exhibition of documents (simulated fac) punctuate the visit.
