Closed for renovation until November 2025. The Pavillon Populaire, located on the esplanade Charles de Gaulle in Montpellier, right in the heart of the city, is a year-round exhibition venue presenting works by renowned artists and photographic works on a variety of themes. Open to the public free of charge, it is one of the benchmarks for contemporary photography. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of nearby Place de la Comédie. The specialized photography program features local, regional and internationally renowned artists. Every year, the Pavillon Populaire is one of the venues hosting the Boutographies, Montpellier’s photographic encounters. Previous exhibitions: Robert Doisneau retrospective, Plossu’s Couleurs, Linda McCartney retrospective… Free admission.
