LE PARC DES BOIS BLANCS
TARBES , Hautes-Pyrénées – Cultural heritage
About
A real green lung in the heart of the Laubadère district, the Parc des Bois Blancs is made up of trees from all continents, a central area for events and playgrounds.
This project carried out and financed by the city of Tarbes is fully in line with the renovation of the district and gives a new image to Laubadère.
These 18,000 m² of greenery represent a great tool for opening up to the city.
Special care has been taken with the vegetation. Trees from each continent have been planted in the different areas of the park: “Africa” on the rue du Comminges side, “America” along the avenue St Exupéry, “Europe” on the playground side…
Enclosed by a low wall with four entrances equipped with barriers (accessible to people with reduced mobility), the park is illuminated and remains open at night. Traduction automatique par DeepL via DATAtourisme
