The Casa Pairal museum takes you on a journey through the history of the town and Roussillon, from the earliest settlers to the present day. to the present day. In the course of its exhibitions, you can discover its ethnographic and popular Catalan arts and and traditions. Your visit will end at the summit, with a 360° view of the Roussillon plain and the surrounding mountains. The museum is housed in the Castillet. This ancient gateway to the town has been a listed monument since 1889. It is one of the symbols of Perpignan and Catalan culture. The Casa Pairal is a social museum, also known as the Museum of Popular Catalan Arts and Traditions. has been a “Musée de France” since 2002. Conceived as a reflection of northern Catalan society, it takes on all the symbolism of the place in which it is housed. ***The capacity is 19 people per floor, i.e. a maximum of 57 people for the whole building***.
