The enire Canal du Midi-Canal de Garonne has been registered as “Grands Sites Occitanie”. It spans the Tarn with a canal bridge of remarkable architecture and crosses Moissac from east to west, dividing the city in two. It is a backbone on which streets, walks and avenues are articulated by means of revolving bridge, footbridge and locks.
