Remains of the city’s fortifications and remarkable for its monumentality, the Vauraise gate takes its name in Occitan from “Lavaur” because it is oriented on the side of the road leading to the city of Tarn. The gate is registered as a Historical Monument. Presence of a heritage panel on the site. A must see in the commune of Verfeil: the Tolosane Gate, the Wolf Gate, the Saint-Blaise Church, the Castle of the Green Leaf, the Saint-Sernin-Des-Rais Church, the Memorial Path, the Cemetery of the Little Model Girls.
