The chapelle des pénitents gris is a chapel built within the city walls of Aigues-Mortes in the early 17th century, in the rue Rouget de l’Isle at the crossroads with the rue Paul Bert. It was the burial place of members of the brotherhood until 1793, when its furnishings were destroyed, leaving only the high altar and its altarpiece.
