About
Erected in the first half of the 16th century, St. John the Baptist Church was created by a common decision of the local authorities, in particular involving the Commander of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem of Garidech. At the end of nearly forty years of construction, the remarkable Toulouse-style bell tower-wall was finally raised. It still shelters three bells of 1596 and 1654 classified as Historical Monuments. There is a heritage panel on the site. A must see in the commune of Garidech: the Commandery, the Wash-house.
