Jardin de la Plantade et Moulins Cordier
BEZIERS , Hérault – Cultural heritage
About
On the banks of the Orb, this shady garden is particularly pleasant. There are also the Cordier mills, renamed after the architect Jean-Marie Cordier, who revolutionized life in Béziers by designing the water supply system for the upper town. This was in 1827.
In gratitude, the engineer was given a proper mausoleum in the Cimetière Vieux.
