The Haras National d’Uzès has a breeding tradition in the Mediterranean region.
As the headquarters of the IFCE’s Mediterranean Arc Territorial Delegation, it carries out research, dissemination, training and promotion of equestrian heritage.

The IFCE is the public agency responsible for supporting the professionalization of the equine industry.
It operates under the joint oversight of the ministries responsible for agriculture and sports.
The IFCE is recognized as the leading technical institute serving stakeholders in the equine industry. Its areas of focus include production and the promotion of knowledge related to equines and their various uses across all dimensions: genetic, agricultural, environmental, economic, social, sports, recreational, and animal welfare.

The Uzès National Stud invites you to explore its self-guided tour route. With your phone in hand, freely explore the estate using an audio guide and learn about the missions of the French Institute for Horses and Equestrianism, the daily lives of its staff, and its heritage inherited from the National Stud Farms. Suitable for all ages; tour duration: 2 hours.
