Consecrated in 1910, the Sainte-Barbe church in Cagnac-les-Mines celebrates the patron saint of miners.
It houses beautiful frescoes by Nicolaï Greschny.
Nicolaï Greschny is one of the greatest contemporary frescoes, a master of Byzantine art.
His work provokes you, fascinates you, invites you to travel and meditation. The beauty of the icons and the powerful colors force contemplation. Several churches of the Tarn carry his work.
