The parish church of Villefort, dedicated to Saint Victorin, is a very homogeneous neo-classical style building, built in a single campaign. It was probably built on the site of a former 17th century church, which has now disappeared entirely.
The entrance door is surmounted by a monumental pediment falling on Doric columns. The inscribed date (1842) probably marks the completion of the church.
Inside, the nave flanked by side aisles extends over five bays and ends with a groin-vaulted apse whose long ribs fall on conical bases. The great length of the vessel, together with the rhythm of the Doric columns that separate the bays, give the whole a solemn appearance.

Also noteworthy is the beautiful set of historiated stained glass windows that decorate the church’s bays, depicting the life of the Virgin and that of St. Joseph, in 12 large windows, the work of the glass painter Louis-Victor Gesta. Traduction automatique par DeepL via DATAtourisme
