EGLISE SAINT SULPICE
SAINT-SULPICE-SUR-LEZE , Haute-Garonne – Cultural heritage
About
The church is thought to have been built around 1257. Excluded from the fortified enclosure, it was attached to a rampart, as evidenced by the lower part of the stone bell tower and a staircase leading to the first floor. It was rebuilt in southern Gothic style in the 15th century. The bell tower was rebuilt in the 16th century. This is how it still looks today. It has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1974. Guided tours are available in summer. Contact the Volvestre Tourist Office
