Église Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul de Caillac

CAILLAC , Lot – Cultural heritage

About

This massive square Romanesque church has a cubic bell tower. It dates from the 11th century but was subject to major modifications until the 16th century. To see: under a porch with columns, the south portal of Romanesque origin was transformed during the Renaissance into a real masterpiece of chiselling. The building has been classified as a Historic Monument since October 18, 1979. Even closed, this church is worth a visit!
