The painter Nicolas Greschny painted the frescoes in 1947.
According to Jacques Castagné, Nicolas Greschny works «like a Romanesque imagier» ie in a style full of symbols with religious meanings.
Nicolaï Greschny is one of the greatest contemporary frescoes, a master of Byzantine art.
His work provokes you, fascinates you, invites you to travel and meditation. The beauty of the icons and the powerful colors force contemplation. Several churches of the Tarn carry his work.
