The Romanesque Church of Saint-Etienne dates back to the Middle Ages. Its façade has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1951.
The prieuré Saint-Étienne dates back to the 11th century, when the only parts of the original church that remain are the facade and the bases of the two flanking towers.
It has been destroyed several times, and was burnt down in 1703 during the Wars of Religion by the Camisard leader Jean Cavalier. Restored in the 18th century, it is as we know it today.
