The numerous sculpted decorations, notably on the capitals of the engaged columns, form a remarkable ensemble illustrating the art of Romanesque sculpture.
This primitive layout was modified by the addition of two bays to the west and a side aisle to the north in the 16th century. The addition of the square bell tower probably dates from the same period.
