About
One of the most beautiful examples of Romanesque architecture in Gévaudan, despite the many changes over the centuries, dedicated to Saint-Pierre and Saint-Paul, dating from the twelfth century. A very sober architecture for the exterior facade with a simple portal three semicircular arches surmounted by a rose that illuminates the nave, the whole seems massive by the front-body on both sides of the Entrance. But once inside you will discover a simple and airy architecture. (A sound and light inside invites you to discover). The major asset of this church is the dome that surmounts the choir: an octagonal base dome. In order to better appreciate this architecture, you must leave the building and go around to discover the bedside and the decor that composes it.
