About
The church was built in the second half of the 19th century (from 1855) by the architect Henri Bach for the Jesuits. In a Neo-Gothic style, painted and richly decorated, with stained-glass windows by L. V Gesta. The organ was built in 1864 and was registered as a classified historic Monument in 1972. It is a masterpiece of the famous Cavaillé-Coll pipe organ builder. Connoisseurs will appreciate the 24 ranks split between two manual keyboards and pedals. The church is closed to the public with the exception of during scheduled events.
