This historical monument houses two museums. Abbey-school plunges you into this school 3 centuries of history with its innovative teaching methods. Dom Robert and 20th century Tapestry Museum exhibits the work of Dom Robert and contemporary artists as well as Aubusson tapestry.

Two museums, two worlds in which to get to know famous people who have left their mark on French history, understand the innovative teaching methods of this former school and discover a resolutely modern museum. We invite you to explore the colourful world of Dom Robert’s drawings and tapestries, a real journey through Montagne Noire flora and fauna. A unique experience, a real adventure to share with the whole family! The Garden is open to visitors from 21st March to 11th November. A fascinating way to immerse yourself in the life of the pupils at the old school… You can take a self-guided or guided tour, or try out games and applications on a digital tablet (take part in a quest using augmented reality games to help Devic, the school’s first pupil, recover his memory). Annual programme of events, games, shows and concerts. Subject to availability. The Cité de Sorèze has the label “Valeur Parc Naturel Régional du Haut-Languedoc” and is labelled Grands Sites Occitanie.
