Château de Vaillac

About

The Château de Vaillac, a remarkable monument dating from the 15th and 17th centuries, opens its doors to you for a visit to the heart of history during part of the summer (see below for opening days). An emblematic example of the military castles of the late Middle Ages in the Quercy region, the visit allows you to relive the history of the lords of Vaillac, full of anecdotes, and discover a group of buildings, in particular the old fortified stables, where the lordly life of yesteryear took place. Rare medieval mural painting. Outside, a tour circuit with descriptive panels. Inside, guided tour.
