From the top of the hill “The Bears’ Mount”, the remains of the castle of Montoussé offer a journey through history and offers a magnificent view of the valley of Neste, the Pyrenees and the Plateau of Lannemezan. This place encourages by its wild and preserved side, to daydream. It offers an exceptional view of the Neste valley, the Pic du Midi de Bigorre and the Pyrenees. Long owned by the Kings of France since the 13th century. In 1995, these remains came out of oblivion thanks to the sustained work of the association “Friends of the Castle of Montoussé”.
