About
Built in 1627, this chapel hosted the Estates of Gévaudan in 1721, an assembly of the clergy, nobility, and Third Estate, at a time when the plague was raging throughout the county. During the French Revolution, in 1793, the Committee of Surveillance, responsible for ensuring the security of the Republic, met here.
