It was in 1836, 185 years ago, that the story of Maison Vital Ainé began, with a watchword: “a taste for things well done”. Pastry-makers from father to son, the recipes and secrets have been passed down to satisfy every gourmet today.

The Maison Vital Ainé welcomes groups of 15 or more every day from 8am to 11am, Monday to Thursday, by prior arrangement. The guided tour will reveal the secrets of traditional biscuit making and tell you about the fabulous history of our company, which began in 1836 in the centre of the village of Martres Tolosane. For health and safety reasons, you can visit the workshops in a glassed-in gallery on the first floor. Afterwards, you can enjoy a tasting of the company’s delicious creations, which can then be found in the factory shop next to the biscuit factory. Reservations required.
