About
The Mas Roussillon Botanical Park is managed by the Centre Catalan d’Etudes pour l’Agronomie Méditerranéenne et l’Environnement (CCEAME). The park covers 11 hectares and comprises an orchard (on the Salanque plain) and an Arborétum (on the Mas Roussillon plateau). The public is welcome to visit the site and discover the hundreds of Mediterranean and exotic species, as well as enjoying the pick-your-own fruit sales. Picking seasonal fruit and vegetables: Depending on the season, the arboretum regularly offers the chance to pick your own fruit and vegetables. Discover them with your nose in the wind and your taste buds on alert… May: Cherries June-July: Apricots July-August: Peaches; Nectarines August-September: Figs Orchard reception opening times: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8.30am to 12pm.
