This church, now in ruins, dates from the very early 14th century. Its construction, prompted by the recent election of a member of the de Boussagues family to the episcopal see of Lodève, was never fully completed. It was nevertheless able to serve as a parish church for some fifty years, while the village church was being rebuilt after a collapse. The land to the north began to be used as a cemetery, and it was finally decided to transfer the village cemetery to this site once and for all, replacing the old cemetery in the village, which was beginning to cause problems of insalubrity. The southern Gothic church is 21.80 m long, 8.60 m wide and 8 m high. The edifice is built virtually on the rock. It features a four-bay nave, followed by a narrower bay and a five-sided apse. The outer walls are flanked by buttresses.
