°°° Exceptional closure until the end of February 2026 °°° Designed by Léon Baille between 1928 and 1932, this singular building is a masterpiece of the “Paquebot” style, an architectural movement inspired by the maritime world. Commissioned by Jean Deléon, manager of the Cerbère station buffet, it welcomed international travellers forced to make a stopover between the French and Spanish rail networks. It is one of the most impressive monuments to be seen on the Vermeille coast. It was listed on the supplementary inventory of historic monuments in 1987 and classified as a historic monument in 2002. The first reinforced concrete construction in the world, its unique architecture was inspired by the ocean liners of the time. Today, it hosts cultural events and its rooms have been converted into flats. Tours are available at 10am, but must be booked at least the day before. 9€
