In Isabelle’s family for more than twenty years, this gîte nestling in the mezzanine of an authentic house from the great Luchon era is the perfect embodiment of the spirit of the Pyrenees: warm, welcoming and turned towards nature. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker on the slopes, a keen hiker, a trout fisherman or a spa-goer in search of wellbeing, there’s something here for everyone. Just a stone’s throw from the thermal baths, the Superbagnères slopes and the legendary Luchonnais trails, this comfortable flat for 6 people will be your ideal cocoon for an unforgettable holiday.

The flat, which sleeps 6, has two real, cosy bedrooms, a separate, fully-equipped kitchen, a cosy living room with fireplace and sofa bed (sleeps 2), a shower room with WC and a relaxing atmosphere. The flat is on the mezzanine floor, and can only be reached down 5 steps.
Outside, you can enjoy your first coffee in the morning or a drink at the end of the day on your private terrace, while the stone garden furniture, shared with the residents of the other seven flats in the house, invites you to read or contemplate the surrounding mountains.

Take a stroll through the Bagnères-de-Luchon spa centre, less than 500 metres away, to enjoy a relaxing treatment or simply admire the Belle Époque architecture. Take the cable car to the Superbagnères ski resort, just 600 metres away, for a day on the slopes or a hike with views of the peaks. Explore the Vallée du Lys, 10 minutes’ drive away, a waterfall and marmot paradise, or take the Hospice de France trail (7 km away) for an immersion in spectacular mountain scenery. Head to Lac d’Oô, a jewel that can be reached in less than an hour’s walk from Les Granges d’Astau (20 minutes away by car).
