Refuge d’En Beys

About

This refuge in the heart of the Orlu National Wildlife Reserve is located at 1970m in a protected mountain environment.

You can observe the site’s exceptional flora and fauna, fish in the fish-filled waters of the many ponds, hike on the trails (Tour des Pérics, Tour des montagnes d’Ax, GR7, star trekking by the day), or simply enjoy the scenery.

For families and light hikers, you can hire a donkey from the ferme aux ânes.

If you’re a fan of public transport, a train will drop you off at Ax-le Thermes, where you can either start your hike or take a shuttle to get closer, which is sometimes preferable….
