Between town and rolling hills, Les Xensous welcomes you to a peaceful countryside setting, with the Gaillac vineyards as the backdrop to your holiday.

Gaillac is an excellent starting point for discovering an area whose history is closely linked to winegrowing. Around the town, the estates of the Gaillac vineyards dot the hillsides and continue a long-standing winemaking tradition that you can discover by meeting local winegrowers. The country roads will also take you to Lisle-sur-Tarn and its large covered square, then on to the hilltop bastides of Castelnau-de-Montmiral and Cordes-sur-Ciel. About twenty minutes away, Albi is well worth a full day: Sainte-Cécile Cathedral, the Palais de la Berbie and the historic districts form the Episcopal City, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Back in Gaillac, markets, events and activities centred around the vineyards add to the enjoyment of your stay.

Located just a few minutes from the centre of Gaillac, on the road to the Matens hills, Les Xensous is a recently built, single-storey gîte situated behind the owners’ home. Designed for 4 guests, it is also accessible to people with reduced mobility.

The living area combines the equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge. To prepare your meals, you have an oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and a range of small appliances. The sofa bed in the lounge can provide two additional sleeping places.

The two bedrooms are located on the ground floor:
– One bedroom with 1 bed 160×200 cm
– One bedroom with 2 beds 90×190 cm, which can be joined together to form a 180×190 cm bed
The shower room has a shower and double washbasin, and the WC is separate.

Outside, you have your own enclosed garden and private terrace, with no overlooking neighbours and open views across the neighbouring field towards the Gaillac hills. Garden furniture and a barbecue make it easy to enjoy meals outdoors. The swimming pool, shared only with the owners, is a welcome addition on summer days. Kidney-shaped, it measures approximately 8×4 m, with a depth ranging from 1.20 to 1.50 m, and is secured by a safety cover with bars. A table tennis table is also available.

Air conditioning and heating are provided in every room. Bed linen and towels are supplied, and end-of-stay cleaning is included.
Private parking is available, as well as a secure Green’Up charging socket with a maximum output of 3.7 kW for electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles. Electricity used for charging is billed according to consumption.
