About

The Causse Méjean is a vast limestone plateau located between the Gorges du Tarn and de la Jonte, it is particularly protected and different. The quality of the starry night sky, the beauty of the landscapes and the richness of the fauna are exceptional. The Cévennes National Park, holder of the label ‘International Dark Sky Reserve’ (IDSR), is today Europe’s largest IDSR. Every morning, the sheep graze around the house. During autumn, stags come down the hills and every evening their bellow rings out nearby. Didier gives you a warm welcome in this beautiful limestone house, typical of the Causse. Ideally located above the Gorges of the Tarn, between heaven and earth, it will please nature enthusiasts as well as hikers and other-sports enthusiasts, between the vultures’ flight and hiking or mountain bike trails. We also welcome riders, horses and donkeys. Labelled ‘Relais Motards’ and ‘Accueil Moto Lozère’ for bikers, who are more than welcome!
