Welcome to La Résidence de Gérard, this luxurious 18th-century guest house has been tastefully restored and combines the old with the new. You’ll feel the glorious past and its 300 years of history. Ideally situated in the charming village of Montréal, you are only 25 minutes from the famous Cité de Carcassonne and Castelnaudary, the world capital of cassoulet. On site, you can enjoy a relaxing stay in the heated swimming pool (3x8x1.50m), open from April to early October. You’re sure to enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding area, as well as the garden and terrace where you’ll have a magnificent panoramic view of the surrounding countryside.The guest house has three spacious bedrooms. Each room has its own charm and personalised decoration. For the record, each room is named after a prestigious woman who lived in Montreal during the Middle Ages: Braïda – Elis – Fauressa. The largest, Fauressa, has a king-size bed and a spacious bathroom with a large walk-in shower and WC. It is located at the back of the house, with a breathtaking view of the 12th-century church and the valley with the Pyrenees in the distance, making this room unique. The second bedroom, Braïda, also has a king-size bed and a very spacious bathroom (XL double bath and WC), with a view over the square. The last and third bedroom has a king-size bed.
