Gîte Romarin : Charming, very comfortable holiday cottage in former gold mine. Private river beach for bathing. 1 ha of shaded, fenced property. Peace and relaxation. On site : massages, meditation, yoga.

An oasis with the scents of the south, at the foot of the Cévennes National Park, 14 km from Les Vans, 10 km from the village of Banne, close to the Bois de Païolive and the Gorges de Vallon Pont d’Arc (home to the famous Chauvet cave).
A pleasant riverside holiday (private beach). An ideal bathing spot where you can swim, dive, sunbathe on the rocky banks or in the shade of a pine tree.
La Mine d’or is set in a hectare of enclosed, shady grounds.

We named the gîte after Romarin, which used to be the mine canteen where Camillette served pastis to the miners, washed down with water from the fresh spring that flowed nearby.

In summer, this gîte is particularly pleasant for its coolness, preserved thanks to the thickness of the walls.
A pergola provides a shady spot for the rosemary dwellers.

This gîte is particularly suitable for a couple or a family with young children.

On-site: Indian massages, yoga and reflexology.

Accueil : ♦ If you’re an amateur gold digger, you’ll probably be lucky enough to find a few flakes in the river, as Sarriette is located on the property of an old gold mine.
♦ I also offer bike hire to enable our guests to criss-cross the pretty paths of the Cévennes and southern Ardèche with their families.
♦ Storytelling: By prior arrangement, a storyteller from the village will come and tell you traditional stories from the Gard and southern Ardèche. She can also take you on a storytelling walk, telling stories about nature, etc.
