Cordes-sur-Ciel is a magical city. Walking along the cobbled stairs and alleys, discovering all its secret corners, meeting local artisans and visiting artists' galleries. Cordes-sur-Ciel is a unique experience. For painters, writers, ceramists, sculptors or jewelers the place is conducive to inspiration. It is on Saturday morning that the market takes place at the bottom of the city. The upper town has preserved superb Gothic houses, including the house of the Grand Fauconnier, the house Prunet and the house of the Grand Veneur. The celebrations of the Grand Fauconnier, which take place in July, are a great moment of medieval atmosphere. Some mornings, when the pink mist invaded the valley, Cordes sur Ciel deserves its name and floats above the skies. You will then be at the front row, on our unique terraces, at the House of Traverse.

The house is an old Cordonian house completely restored respecting the local architecture, at the top of the medieval city of Cordes-sur-Ciel, right next to the square and the market hall of the house of the Grand Veneur. The stairs are of stone, wrap around the patio, the walls very thick, the two terraces offer a breathtaking view. The architecture is necessarily atypical: the rooms are distributed on the floors around the central patio, open to the blue sky, until reaching the second level, at the top, where is the large panoramic terrace. On the ground floor is the large kitchen / living room. A small garden is leaned against the house. The kitchen is fully equipped. Sheets and towels are provided. Cleaning service at the end of the stay 150 €.
