La Lumina is a contemporary villa located at the foot of the Cévennes foothills in the Gard region, between Anduze and St-Hippolyte-du-Fort, near the Hérault and Gardon gorges, or even the Ardèche gorges.
In Durfort (and St-Martin-de-Sossenac), a village in a very touristy area, close to Anduze, discover a contemporary villa in a small private residence, unoverlooked and south-facing, on the edge of this small medieval village listed as a “Circulade Languedocienne de l’An Mille” with its listed high square tower (restored in 1992), a vestige of the old 12th-century castle.
Useful information:
In the village: grocery store (bread depot) for all quick necessities, Post Office, restaurant, wine cellar.
Nearby: just a few km away (in Sauve, St-Hippolyte-du-Fort, Quissac or Anduze), bakery, butcher’s shop, pharmacy, etc., and of course hyper-supermarkets, all shops, restaurants, local daily and night markets (summer).
Réservation : Minimum stay 6 nights.
Family or group of friends. *No young adults looking for a loud party.
