In Payrin, this 19th-century stone house welcomes you in a spacious and warm setting, perfect for enjoying the southern Tarn countryside. Nearby, the Thoré River will delight fishing enthusiasts, and the trails leading to the Causse are an open invitation to hike. You’re just minutes from Mazamet, Castres, and the Montagne Noire, ideally located to explore the region. Around the gîte, the landscape offers plenty to enjoy: hiking paths, outdoor activities, golf, local markets, and even a Michelin-starred dinner at Villa Pinewood. With family or friends, you can easily plan a stay that combines relaxation, fun, and local discoveries.

With its 260 m², the house can accommodate up to 10 people.
The ground floor opens onto a large hallway that separates the living spaces:

On one side, a well-equipped kitchen with range cooker, oven, dishwasher, a convivial dining area, and direct access to the terrace and garden

On the other, a spacious living room with children’s play area, wood-burning fireplace (logs provided), and smart TV
A double bedroom (160×200 cm) overlooking the garden, a large shower room with washing machine and dryer, and a separate WC complete this level.

Upstairs, there are 4 additional bedrooms:

One with 160×200 cm bed, private shower room and WC

One with 160×200 cm bed and washbasin

One with a 160×200 cm bed

One with a pull-out bed (90×200 cm)
Also: a bathroom with bathtub and shower, a separate WC, and a spacious landing with a library, billiards, and board games.

Behind the house, a shaded terrace under a beautiful linden tree is perfect for summer meals or quiet reading time. The landscaped, non-enclosed garden offers peaceful corners, a treehouse, and a secure swimming pool (10×4 m, 1.5 m deep) for sunny days.
Barbecue, garden furniture, and private parking are also available.
