Magnificent, beautifully decorated, atypical flat with swimming pool, enclosed garden and parking space, in the heart of the rugby capital of the Occitanie region, Toulouse!
A luxury in the fourth arrondissement of France, you’ll be able to swim in the peace and quiet of your private pool, enjoy a book while forgetting your everyday worries in your enclosed garden, and have access to two double bedrooms with en suite facilities. This beautiful Toulouse house, built in 1929, has been in the Cabaré family for several decades. The current flat used to be a cellar, with the ceiling made partly from old railway tracks! The owner’s son has extended this cosy, well-equipped flat by renovating the former garage.

This single-storey, garden-level gîte (on level -1 of the owner’s house, who lives above): the kitchen/dining room opens onto a lounge/study and a reading area; a sleeping area (1 x 140x190cm bed) also opens onto a bath, a washbasin and a WC; and a second sleeping area (1 x 140x190cm bed), with no windows, opens onto a shower room/WC. Please note that there are no doors between the sleeping areas and the bathroom.

WITHOUT A CAR: from Toulouse Matabiau train station, take bus line L8 (Lanfant stop, on avenue Jean Rieux, 100m from the flat). From the airport, you can take the shuttle bus to the train station.

There is no heating in the house (gîte open from April to October). The toilet next to the bathroom is a sanibroyeur. You can park inside the property (closed gate and alarm, but no garage). You will have internet access thanks to the box in Françoise’s house. Notice to grown-ups: bend down when you go from one room to another!

The flat is not suitable for young children because of the swimming pool (no baby equipment available).
